How to add a sync?
On Dreamdata's main menu, navigate to Audience Hub -> Syncs and select Meta Conversions.
Click the Enable button to connect your Meta account.
Choose a Stage that you want to measure as a conversion and an Ad Account and Dataset to which you want to send conversions to and click Save. If no dataset is available, please follow the section below on creating a new dataset.Meta only accepts events that are at most 7 days old, starting from the sync creation date. After adding the sync, Dreamdata will send the following data to Meta:
Meta click ID (fbclid) - possible only for IDs no more than 90 days old
Browser ID (fbp) - only available for accounts that are using the Dreamdata Web Tracking script v2 (collected through the _fbp cookie) and for contacts tracked in the last 90 days
IP Address - available for contacts tracked in the last 7 days
User Agent - available for contacts tracked in the last 90 days
You will be able to see a list with all your conversion sync settings and some properties:
Dataset name and ID - the name and ID for the selected dataset (click on the name to be taken to your dataset details page in Meta).
Stage - the name of the stage measured.
Count - the amount of conversions that are sent to Meta since sync creation.
Last Synced (UTC) - the time when Dreamdata last synced the stage to Meta.
Enabled - on means that we are continuously sending updates to Meta based on updates to the measured stage (decide if you want to pause sending updates by turning it off)
Actions - delete the conversion sync settings from Dreamdata
You're all set 🔥 data will be automatically synced daily for any updates in the selected conversion.
Meta requires up to 24 hours for the initial processing of a conversion.
After the first sync you will need to review the custom events shared with Meta. This is a one time action required for each stage sync created. Select the Review option visible in Meta Ads Manager -> Events manager -> Data Sources for the dataset selected for your sync in Dreamdata
You may also find this option under Meta Ads Manager -> Events manager -> Data Sources for your dataset, next to the event that needs attention
Select I acknowledge
Select Confirm the custom event and Continue to finalize the setup

How can I compare the conversions and conversion value between Dreamdata and Meta?
It's not advisable to directly compare the metrics of Dreamdata and Meta. The attribution method use by Dreamdata is account-based attribution.
For instance, if a deal involves 4 contacts throughout the customer journey, and all 4 interact with your Meta campaigns, Dreamdata would count it as a single deal, whereas Meta would register 4 distinct conversions.
